- Architects of objects since 2009. Hidden amongst the trees -

Method is a boutique creative production house, specialising in the design, development, project management and small batch manufacture of remarkable bespoke objects and content.

From humble beginnings as a furniture and trunk-makers - meticulously combining hardwoods, leathers and metals - the studio has grown into a multi-disciplinary practice, delivering a wide range of end-to-end creative services, with an unmistakable heart of craft and a playful, theatrical style.

Our passionate team works directly with luxury brands and agencies as a trusted go-to for complex, finely-crafted, evocative bespoke work, which wordlessly communicates the sophisticated brand values of our clients.

Clients include: Burberry, Bentley, Vacheron Constantin, Jaguar Land Rover, Estee Lauder, Fortnum & Mason, The Glasgow School of Art and Globe-Trotter.

Teamwork and practical collaboration is at the very heart of the what we do, but the husband and wife team of the studio's co-founders; architect, designer and entrepreneur Marisa Giannasi and second generation woodworker Callum Robinson, are the filter through which every decision is considered, refined and distilled.

Both bring very different skills, experiences and perspectives, but together they apply an inventive, holistic approach to the entire process -  which is uniquely Method.

'We like to think of ourselves as architects of objects. An experienced, down-to-earth, communicative team that can always be trusted to really care about the project as a whole, to go the extra mile, and to make the process personal and enjoyable...with just a hint of magic!'

Method's combined design studio and award winning workshop is located in a lovingly restored timber sawmill, nestled in the hills above the historic Royal Burgh of Linlithgow, in central Scotland.

Although easily accessed from Edinburgh airport and city (25mins) the sawmill is isolated amongst the pines and is very peaceful.

'Being surrounded by trees, water and wildlife - and so much a part of the changing seasons - has a strong influence on our work, and on the material-driven, gleefully hands-on atmosphere and content we work hard to cultivate'
